Farmers Market Tour & Tasting with Sherri Brooks Vinton
Join Moms Going Out and acclaimed author Sherri Brooks Vinton for a one-of-a-kind tour of the Brookline Farmers Market, followed by a presentation, recipe demonstration and tasting.
Sherri Brooks Vinton is one of the founders of the Real Foods movement, and she travels to farmers markets across the country talking about sustainable agriculture and the importance of choosing Farm Friendly foods. She's an accomplished chef who has been featured on TV and radio on several occasions.
We'll meet at the Brookline Farmers Market on Center Street at 6pm for a tour and some expert tips on navigating the all those bountiful fruits and veggies. Then, at 7pm we will go across the street to Sunshine Academy on Harvard Street to enjoy some food and wine and to watch Sherri in action.
